General Ins - Latest News - Barnett Waddingham appoints two new associates


 Barnett Waddingham, the UK’s largest independent firm of actuaries and consultants has appointed David Hughes and Jody Glennie as associates within its insurance consulting team, as the firm looks to ramp up growth of its insurance consulting business.
 David, who joins Barnett Waddingham from Marsh where he was head of analytics, has been hired to focus on the development of the firm’s general insurance consultancy services around data analytics and pricing.
  
 Jody joins the firm from PWC’s actuarial and insurance management solutions team. In her new role Jody will be responsible for working on enhancing and developing Barnett Waddingham’s risk and capital management services for life insurers.
  
 Scott Eason, head of insurance consulting at Barnett Waddingham, said: "David and Jody’s appointments reflect the continued growth and strengthening of our insurance consulting team here at Barnett Waddingham. Both of our new associates share considerable experience and expertise which will make them valuable additions to the team, helping to build our presence in the general and life insurance marketplace.”
