Articles - BBS strengthens board with appointment of Jude Bennett

BBS Consultants & Actuaries have announced that Jude Bennett is to join their board as investment director from 1 April 2014. The internal promotion follows a highly successful year for the Bristol based firm, whose overall client base grew by 20% during 2013.

The investment division has grown significantly since Jude joined as an investment actuary in 2009, with income quadrupling over the period. This has been achieved by remaining focused on their core market of small to medium sized occupational pension funds and employers and developing services specifically around their needs.

 Jude commented:

“Over the last few years we have seen some exciting developments in the pension scheme investment landscape, with more options than ever now available to trustees. That said, the sheer range of choice alone can be daunting for clients when considering the approach to take with their scheme. We focus on being innovative yet proportional – at the smaller end of the market many schemes are simply looking for straightforward, pragmatic advice and cost effective solutions. This year we intend to expand our team and are looking to recruit talented investment consultants to help us continue to develop our service offering.”
