Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions partners with Benefex to deliver market leading pensions auto-enrolment solution

From July 2013, Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions (C&ES) will begin partnering with online employee benefits experts Benefex, utilising its Enroller technology and surrounding service to support employers through the pensions auto-enrolment process.

Enroller is an integrated module within Benefex’s award winning RewardHub portal, which manages all aspects of auto-enrolment, including all related administration, employee support calls and communications.

Commenting on the announcement, Paul Wilson, Head of Employee Benefits Consulting at Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions said “Following an independent review of the top auto-enrolment technology solutions available, we selected Benefex to be our pensions auto-enrolment technology partner as we believe they offer the best and most appropriate solution for our clients who require an independent hub. They are not only focused on facilitating a smooth and robust auto-enrolment process but also on the importance of financial education and employee engagement which are areas of particular importance and focus for Barclays C&ES as we develop our workplace savings offering.”

Gethin Nadin, Head of Strategic Alliances at Benefex added “This new partnership adds significant strength to our portfolio of partners. We are delighted that Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions has identified Enroller's market leading technology and client support and we look forward to working with them to guide their corporate clients through this sometimes daunting and difficult process."

Earlier this year, Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions announced that it has teamed up with Aegon and Zurich to provide a corporate pension platform as part of its workplace savings offering. In addition to benefiting from the administrative capabilities of these leading pension providers, clients can also access their auto-enrolment hubs. The addition of Benefex’s independent auto-enrolment hub to the Barclays C&ES offering further improves choice for its corporate clients.
