General Insurance Article - Deloitte appoints actuary Jeremy Haynes as a Partner


 Deloitte is continuing to strengthen its actuarial, underwriting and risk management services by appointing Jeremy Haynes as a partner in its insurance practice.

 Jeremy will provide actuarial and underwriting services to commercial lines insurers and reinsurers, and joins Deloitte from RSA Insurance Group where he was most recently director of Insurance Risk and Portfolio Pricing. He was previously director of Underwriting, Risk and Legacy for RSA’s UK business and has also worked for Zurich Financial Services, and Bacon and Woodrow. With more than 23 years’ experience in actuarial, underwriting and risk roles, he is also a fellow at the Institute of Actuaries.

 Gurpreet Johal, insurance partner at Deloitte’s, said:
