General Insurance Article - Deloitte named Solvency II Advisor of the Year

Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has picked up the top accolade of ‘Solvency II Advisor of the Year’ at the Reactions London Market Awards 2011.

The Reactions London Market Awards recognise the best insurance, reinsurance and broking teams in the London insurance market, as well as service providers.  This year’s awards ceremony took place at the Grange City Hotel in London.

Commenting on the award, Deloitte insurance partner, Ian Clark, said: “Solvency II presents a number of key challenges for the industry, whether from a cost, implementation or operational perspective.  Staying ahead of the game to ensure our clients are aware of the regime’s potential implications is imperative, and we have worked tirelessly to support the market through this period of change.  We are pleased to have received positive endorsement of our progress, and congratulate everyone involved in Deloitte’s UK Solvency II Programme who has contributed to our success culminating in this industry."
