AXA Wealth announces the appointment of Gary Stoker as regional development manager for the South West. Gary joins from Skandia, where he was executive business consultant responsible for platform sales, investments and RDR consultancy.
With more than 20 years’ experience in intermediary sales, Gary Stoker joins AXA Wealth to take responsibility for Elevate and Architas sales in the South West. Gary will report directly to David Stratton who was appointed head of business development earlier this year.
Commenting on the appointment, David Thompson, managing director of marketing and distribution, AXA Wealth, said: “We have been evolving the skills and capability of our distribution team to ensure that we offer advisers the specialist support they are looking for. Gary brings a wealth of practical and industry experience and will help us to provide the hands-on support that we feel we need to give advisers both now and in the future.”
