Software - Guidewire establishes consulting centre in Ireland

Guidewire Software has announced that it has established a consulting centre in Dublin. Guidewire already has a team of approximately 25 employees in place and additional hiring is underway.

To date, Guidewire has been selected by more than 100 insurers globally. The company has more than a dozen customers in Europe, including: Aviva UK, Beazley, LV=, NFU Mutual, Pohjola, QBE European Operations, Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance, Rosgosstrakh, Zurich UK and other insurers in the UK, France and Italy.

The Dublin centre was established to help meet a growing global customer demand for expertise in implementing Guidewire’s products. The centre provides resources in Ireland to contribute to highly collaborative Agile projects which are led from customer locations around the world. The focus of the GSC is to augment on-site teams that are implementing Guidewire products to replace mission critical insurance applications.

Guidewire says that customers can limit peak hiring during implementations by engaging GSC consultants to configure Guidewire products to meet their specific business needs. These off-site consulting teams receive the same high calibre training that Guidewire on-site consultants receive. GSC consultants are dedicated to individual projects and leverage Guidewire’s Agile project approach and Guidewire implementation tools for success. This consistency facilitates collaboration and transparency. The net result is a high quality implementation option that maintains Guidewire’s commitment to customer success.

It added that the GSC concept combined with the Guidewire on-site model and the company’s global alliance programme gives customers a myriad of implementation options–each designed to help them achieve project success.
