Lifestyle Article - Hot Topics - Chief Actuary Practising Certificate

On Tuesday 7th March, Bolton Associates will be holding their second ‘Hot Topics’ evening and would like to extend the invite to Actuarial Post’s readers. An evening of networking and knowledge building, the ‘Hot Topics’ series aims to bring together like-minded actuaries and industry experts to share insight and comment on the biggest issues facing the insurance market today.

March's event will see talks focus on the subject of the Chief Actuary Practising Certificate, and feature talks from members of the Practising Certificate Committee and the PRA.

The aim of the evening is to help actuaries better understand exactly what is required to gain the certificate, learn about the importance of succession planning for your team and discuss how actuaries can mould their careers to ensure they comply with the requirements. This is an ideal opportunity for actuaries, both senior and junior, to gain insight into the committee's work, and also catch up with old market contacts (and make new ones!) all whilst having a drink on Bolton Associates!
