General Insurance Article - JLT EB make 3 new appointments in Flexible Benefits

JLT Employee Benefits (JLT EB) has appointed Andrew Drake as Head of Flexible Benefits, Nick Patel as Senior Flexible Benefits Consultant, and Ashley Finn as Associate Flexible Benefits Consultant. The team will develop JLT EB’s flexible benefits proposition with the support of BenPal, JLT EB’s integrated online benefit and pension management system.

With a ‘one size fits all’ policy no longer tenable for workplace benefits, JLT EB has adapted its flexible benefits offering, introducing a tailored approach and greater functionality to suit its clients’ needs. Alongside popular benefits such as pension, life assurance, health cover and holiday entitlement, Benpal’s flexible benefits proposition will offer other innovative means to give employers the opportunity to design a benefits scheme that has a positive and meaningful impact on their business e.g. helping with recruitment, retention and absenteeism.

Andrew Drake joins from Thomsons Online Benefits where he was Senior Scheme Design Consultant. He has 15 years of experience in the pension and flexible benefits industry, specialising in designing, consulting, and implementing benefit schemes in accordance with clients’ strategy, industry and employee demographic.

Nick Patel has 15 years of pension and flex scheme experience across a wide range of both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes. He joins from Capita Employee Benefits where he was Senior Consultant in Flexible Benefits.

Ashley Finn has five years’ experience in benefit consulting account management, working for a range of clients in both public and private sectors. His last role was Account Executive with Edenred. Ashley and Nick will be working closely with Andrew to deliver the new JLT EB Flex proposition.

Andrew Drake, Head of Flexible Benefits, JLT Employee Benefits, commented: “I’m excited to be joining JLT EB and about the prospect of delivering outstanding, innovative services to our clients. We have great clients already and I will ensure our proposition not only meets their expectations but exceeds them by some distance. Our aim is to deliver results that set our clients’ benefits package apart from their competitors to help them solve their benefits challenges. Our ambition is to establish JLT EB’s position as the go-to benefits consultancy.”

Malcolm Reynolds, Managing Director, JLT Employee Benefits, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Andrew, Nick, and Ashley to JLT Employee Benefits. Their appointments reflect our ongoing commitment to our flexible benefits business. With Andrew and Nick’s impressive track record and the support of our in house online solution, Benpal, they are well placed to lead the expansion of our client focused and consultancy led flexible benefits proposition.”
