General Insurance Article - JLT Re appoint new Partner to Credit and Political Risk team


JLT Re is pleased to announce that Stephen Balderston will be joining JLT Re’s successful Credit & Political Risk team as a Partner once he has completed his contractual obligations with his current employer.

 Nick Jay, Divisional Head, Marine, Energy & Political Risk, JLT Re said, “Stephen is one of three recent appointments to our Credit & Political Risk team and proof that our platform continues to attract best in class professionals”.

 Balderston joins after 8 years at Guy Carpenter where he was a Senior Vice President in Credit, Bond & Political Risk Treaty Reinsurance. Previous to that Balderston was at RK Carvill.

 Balderston is expected to join at the beginning of next year and will be based in JLT Re’s London office.
