Lesley was previously Vice President of the PMI serving on the Advisory Council and its Board. Lesley has also recently taken on responsibility for chairing the Development Committee. As previous Chair of the PMI's Qualifications, Examinations and Assessment Committee, Lesley has championed the introduction of Defined Contribution content and played a key role in the development of the highly successful Certificate in DC Governance.
Lesley is a highly experienced pensions professional with over 26 years working in the sector. She has been involved in numerous consultations with the Pensions Regulator, the Department for Work and Pensions and has recently worked with the Pensions Regulator on 21st Century trustee and Scheme business plans. She has represented the PMI in discussions with the Office of Fair Trading on charges. She is also currently a Director at KGC Associates.
The two Vice Presidents are Lorraine Harper and Lesley Alexander who has been elected to the position succeeding Lesley Carline. Elected to the Advisory Council are Sara Cook, Christine Kerr, Rosie Lacy, Chris Parrott and Ian Wright.
Lesley Carline succeeds Robert Branagh, whose tenure began in August 2017.

Robert also served as Chairman of the Board and a number of Committees over the last five years and has been instrumental in the change and modernisation agenda.”
Lesley Carline said: “The pensions industry continues to evolve at pace and I am delighted to be assuming the Presidency at such an exciting time. I would like to thank Robert for his service to the PMI and I look forward to continuing my longstanding relationship with the PMI.”
