Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe appoints John McCammon as Chief Operating Officer

 Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe Limited (LMIE), a Liberty Mutual company, has appointed John McCammon as Chief Operating Officer. He succeeds Patrick O’Brien who has taken up the position of Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Insurance in Ireland.

 Based in London, Mr. McCammon will report to LMIE’s CEO Sean Rocks, and his role will include responsibility for LMIE’s Continental Europe division. Mr. McCammon has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and was most recently Head of Claims for LMIE.

 Commenting on the appointment, Sean Rocks said: “John has a great depth of experience across a wide range of insurance lines. I know he will bring the same degree of professionalism and expertise to the COO role that he demonstrated so effectively while transforming our Claims function into one of the best in the London market.”
