General Insurance Article - Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe announces appointments


 Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe Limited (LMIE), a Liberty Mutual company, announces three senior appointments to its claims operations in London, The Hague and Madrid. Katie MacGregor has been named Head of Claims in London, Renske Franken joins LMIE as a Claims Manager in The Hague, and Ainhoa Tricas Spiteri joins the company as Claims Manager in Madrid.

 Katie MacGregor will report to John McCammon, Chief Operating Officer and have responsibility for the 45 strong claims team working across all LMIE’s regions and product lines. Having joined Liberty in 2003 as Professional Indemnity Claims Manager before becoming Assistant Head of Third Party Claims in 2005, Ms. MacGregor is a qualified solicitor whose experience includes seven years of private practice work with a specialisation in insurance.

 Renske Franken, who has a law degree, has held senior claims roles in the Netherlands including a Claims Director position for a major insurer. She has worked across a number of sectors including general liability, construction all risk, and medical liability claims.

 Ainhoa Tricas Spiteri is a member of the Bar Association of Madrid with eight years’ claims experience. She has also held a senior claims role for a major insurer, handling claims across a variety of commercial lines including directors’ and officers’, professional liability, employment practices liability, and fidelity.
