Lifestyle Article - Marsh announce two Senior Appointments


Marsh announces the appointments of Stephanie Pestorich Manson as Chief Client Officer for Management Liability and Head of Directors’ & Officers’ (D&O) Product and Jason Mills as Wholesale Leader in the UK Financial & Professional (FINPRO) Practice, both within Marsh JLT Specialty. In what are newly-created roles, Ms. Manson is expected to join the firm later this year, with Mr. Mills joining in Q1 2020.

 Ms. Manson will oversee the development of Marsh JLT Specialty’s management liability and D&O solutions within the UK FINPRO Practice and advise Marsh’s FTSE100 clients on their management liability risk and insurance programmes. Based in London, Ms. Manson will report to Beth Thurston, Head of Management Liability, UK FINPRO Practice, Marsh JLT Specialty.

 Ms. Pestorich Manson joins Marsh JLT Specialty from AIG, where she leads the management liability team as Head of Commercial Institutions in the UK. A U.S. lawyer and solicitor qualified in England and Wales, Ms. Manson previously was at Aon from 2009-2015 in various roles, including as EMEA D&O Product Leader. Before moving to the UK in 2008, Ms. Manson was a lawyer in private practice in Washington, D.C. specialising in insurance coverage disputes.

 Mr. Mills will lead the development of the UK FINPRO Practice’s wholesale business, which focuses on large or complex financial and professional risks that are placed in Lloyd’s and the wider international insurance market. He will report to Paul Denny, CEO, UK FINPRO Practice, Marsh JLT Specialty.

 Mr. Mills joins Marsh from Aon, where he has been Executive Director of the Financial & Professional Services Group (F&PSG) for the past 11 years, leading the UK and International Financial Services Group teams in Aon's London Global Broking Centre. He was also the Financial Institutions Industry Group Leader for Aon in EMEA and a member of the F&PSG Global Leadership Group. He was previously employed by Marsh as a Senior Vice President in the UK FINPRO Practice from 2002-2008.

Her technical expertise and client insight are second to none. She will play a key role in developing Marsh’s management liability capabilities.
