Pensions - Articles - MyCSP hires former Capita director Christian Rogers

MyCSP, the Government’s very first mutual joint venture company, which provides pensions services to 1.5 million public sector pension scheme members, has appointed ex-Capita director Christian Rogers.

As a member of the MyCSP Executive Management Team, Christian will be directly responsible for developing and promoting new and innovative solutions for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of pensions administration and other related services, delivering increased value for the public sector and growing the MyCSP business.

Christian joins MyCSP from Capita, one of the UK’s leading providers of support services to the Public Sector. Christian held a number of senior roles at Capita, including director of the local government management consulting business and solutions director in Capita Group’s major deals team, specialising in public sector partnerships.

Christian has extensive experience in developing successful public-private partnerships with Central Government, Local Government and NHS organisations across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Property, Infrastructure and Regulatory Services.

Nicky Hurst, CEO, MyCSP said: “Creating more efficient ways of delivering and generating increased value in public sector services is a key deliverable for the Government and one where MyCSP has already demonstrated its credentials. Christian’s appointment will help us to extend and accelerate the value we can deliver, driving the growth of our business.”

Christian Rogers, executive director, MyCSP, comments: “Having spent most of my career developing public-private partnerships for central and local government services, I’m really excited to become a part of the market leading MyCSP mutual partnership model, which I believe is uniquely well placed to meet the challenge of improving the quality at the same time as the value for money of public services in the UK.”
