Pensions - Articles - NEST reveals names of employers coming on board in 2013

NEST today revealed the names of some more of the large employers using NEST during 2013, following its first announcement in October 2012. The list is below.

NEST chief executive, Tim Jones, says:

"We’re delighted to be working with these employers. We are now working with well over 100 large employers who are affected by automatic enrolment during 2013, from a range of sectors.

2013 is the start of a long journey. Automatic enrolment will take six years to introduce fully and this is the year in which we and the industry as a whole will begin to really get going.

Making a success of that scale of activity is a formidable challenge in itself and it’s where we at NEST will be focused throughout the year. These employers, along with NEST, other providers, advisers and payroll professionals, are in the frontline of implementing the duties in these first stages.

We are working closely with all the groups involved in helping to make this a success."

Some of the large employers NEST is working with include:

 • Barchester Healthcare
 • Brook Street (UK) Limited
 • Elior UK
 • Emprise Services
 • Housing 21
 • Iceland Foods Ltd
 • Marston’s PLC
 • The Midcounties Co-operative
 • Mitchells & Butlers
 • RWE Npower plc
 • Staffline Group plc
