Pensions - Articles - PPF 7800 Index Update


The PPF 7800 Index has been updated to the end of July 2016.

 Highlights include:
     
  1.   The aggregate deficit of the 5,945 schemes in the PPF 7800 Index is estimated to have increased over the month to £408.0 billion at the end of July 2016, from a deficit of £383.6 billion at the end of June 2016.
  2.  
  3.   The funding ratio worsened from 78.0 per cent to 77.4 per cent.

  5.   Total assets were £1,401.0 billion and total liabilities were £1,808.9 billion.
  6.  
  7.   There were 5,020 schemes in deficit and 925 schemes in surplus.
