Investment - Articles - PTL to become ZEDRA

PTL Governance Limited, the UK’s leading independent trustee and governance services provider, will become ZEDRA Governance Limited from 18th July. The firm was acquired by ZEDRA in December 2021, with the announcement taking place in January of this year.

Richard Butcher, MD at PTL, commented: “Since the acquisition, our focus has been on delivering the same high-quality service that our clients expect from us. Behind the scenes, we have also been working very closely with ZEDRA to ensure a smooth integration for both teams. Now it’s time for the next exciting step in that journey - to adopt the ZEDRA brand.

“Becoming part of ZEDRA has meant we have become a more sustainable business. This means we’ll be around for the long term, helping our clients to deliver their own long-term objectives. PTL remains at its core the same professional, pragmatic, and personable business it always was.”

Ivo Hemelraad, ZEDRA Chief Executive Officer, said: “Over the last few months since PTL has joined the ZEDRA family, we have seen a successful and collaborative integration process that has now brought us to this position of bringing the organisation under one brand. We are excited for what will, undoubtedly, be a bright future ahead for the firm and growing our footprint as the recognised leader in the outsourced pensions governance space in the UK.”
