Gareth Henty, Steve Blackmore and Victoria Tillbrook have all been made equity partners in the firm. Gareth will work with clients in the North West on defined benefit and defined contribution arrangements and Steve will continue to help grow PwC’s client base in the Midlands providing extensive actuarial consulting experience. Victoria, based in London, will provide covenant advice for large and more complex pension funds.
Ben Stone, Paul Grant and Saye Mkangama have been promoted to director. Ben will advise trustees and company sponsors on risk management and transactions. Paul will focus on the regional market around London. Saye will focus on FTSE 100 and multinational corporate accounts.
Lauren Moss, Jonathan Wiseman and Jane Evans have also been promoted to director. Both Jonathan and Lauren provide statutory and internal audit and a range of other assurance services to pension scheme trustees. Jane will assist clients with understanding key employer covenant issues as part of the credit advisory service.
The promotions build on the recent external appointments of Andrew Drake, who joined as an equity partner to provide investment consulting advice to trustees, and Charles Ward who joined as a director, earlier this year. PwC continues to deploy Skyval, its online pensions analytics tool, when developing its advice, which clients can access directly allowing them to tap into more efficient and informed analysis. New modules include Skyval Choice, for real-time liability management analysis, and an enhanced investment consulting analytics for asset-liability modelling and risk management.
Raj Mody, head of PwC’s pensions consulting business, said: “Congratulations to our colleagues on their milestone promotions. Our practice continues to go from strength to strength, growing in size and expertise. We see growing demand for our independent and wide-ranging services. We're able to tackle the complex challenges which pension fund trustees and sponsors face, and bring them to outcomes and resolution in a practical way. That capability, perspective and experience is what is fuelling our growth. I am delighted with the opportunities it creates for our people."
