General Insurance Article - ReMetrica Version 6.10 launched by Aon Benfield

Aon Benfield has today announced the launch of ReMetrica Version 6.10, the dynamic financial analysis tool for risk and capital modelling. The new version features enhanced functionality, new capabilities and upgrades for users.

This version builds upon the benefits of v6 which featured new supercomponents that reduce model size by up to 95% when tools are becoming increasingly complex in a Solvency II world.

 Key features of v6.10 include:
 - New 64bit support means that ReMetrica easily handles even the largest scale modelling for big groups, with more simulations for more accurate modelling

 - More transparent and detailed reporting with a new multi-interval display to show all values at a glance rather than just the average of the last time period

 - Speed improvements, including HPC upgrades, to particularly support catastrophe modellers using ReMetrica for numerous trial runs when modelling reinsurance contracts based on peril and region

 - User definable locations for custom and super components to enable enhanced tracking and version control as required by Solvency II

 - New supercomponent to model loss severity for several lines of business, helping to streamline the process for multi-line portfolios

 - Enhanced functionality to create custom components without coding for improved ease.
