 Royal London 360° has appointed Vicky Ackers to the role of ‘Head of Investment’.   

 Manx-born Vicky is a highly experienced investment professional, with an already distinguished career in the Island’s financial services sector. Before joining Royal London 360°, she spent eight years as Relationship Manager at HSBC Custody Services Limited, leading a team responsible for managing existing and potential clients across the UK, Europe, America and Argentina.

 Before joining HSBC, she spent four years as Custody Operations Manager at Bank of Bermuda (Isle of Man), where she managed a Department of 20 staff responsible for client fund dealing and maintenance of the global custody network. Vicky played a pivotal role within the integration team that managed the migration of Bank of Bermuda to HSBC in 2005.

 Prior to this, she held a number of senior positions including as Custody Manager with Rea Brothers (Isle of Man), Settlements Supervisor with Coutts & Co (Isle of Man) and Assistant Manager, Securities at Royal Bank of Canada (Isle of Man).

 In her new role as Head of Investment, Vicky will be responsible for managing a team of more than 20 dealing and investment specialists responsible for administration of the funds available on Royal London 360°’s portfolio bonds, Select and PIMS, regular premium products Quantum, Paragon and LifePlan, and its new single premium investment bond, Oracle.

 Vicky replaces Mark Kennett, who has been appointed ‘Head of Investment Strategy’. In his new role Mark will focus on the management of Royal London 360°’s investment strategy, overseeing key relationships and the implementation of a new dealing infrastructure in conjunction with InvestPro.

 Terry Kelly, Director of Customer Operations at Royal London 360°, commented: “Vicky Ackers is an exceptionally experienced financial services professional, and I am delighted that she will be bringing her expertise to Royal London 360°’s Investment department. Her knowledge and passion for her work will be crucial as the company undergoes a restructure of its core investment processes in the coming months.”

 Outside of work Vicky enjoys travel, and devotes her time to her 11 year old twins, accompanying Annabel to Pony Club competitions and Harry to participate in various motorcross events. She attended both the Buchan School and Queen Elizabeth II High School in the Isle of Man.
