Investment - Articles - RSA appoints Caroline Ramsay as new Group Chief Auditor


 Leading global insurer RSA today announced Caroline Ramsay’s appointment as Group Chief Auditor. Caroline replaces Anne Jaeger who has returned to Denmark to take on the role of Chief Risk and Compliance Officer in RSA Scandinavia.

 Commenting on her new role, Caroline, said:

 “I am delighted to be taking up this role. In today’s challenging economic and regulatory climate, the role of internal audit is key in any business. I am looking forward to the opportunity it gives me to contribute to the Group’s continued success.”

 Welcoming the appointment, RSA Group CEO, Simon Lee, said:

 “Caroline has made a valuable contribution to RSA during her five years here. Her wealth of experience and her solid financial expertise make her the perfect candidate to head up our Group Internal Audit team. I’m pleased we could promote such a high quality leader from within our business.”

 Caroline joined RSA in April 2007 as Group Financial Planning & Analysis Director and most recently held the position of UK & Western Europe Finance Director. Prior to RSA, Caroline spent 11 years at Aviva in a variety of finance roles. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987, Caroline also spent 12 years in audit and general practice with KPMG.
