Standard Life Investments has announced the appointment of Amanda Young as Head of Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI).
During the past 15 years Amanda has built an excellent reputation in the field of sustainable and responsible investment and is a main board director of the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF). She is also a member of the Market Committee Advisory Group of UKSIF. Amanda joins the company from Newton Investment Management.

Standard Life Investments has further strengthened the SRI Team with the recent appointments of Rebecca Maclean and Alix Chosson as SRI Managers. Rebecca joins from Trucost, where she worked as a Senior Research Analyst, and Alix joins from Generali Investments in Paris where she was an SRI Analyst specialising in the energy and technology sectors.
Standard Life Investments’ Standard Life UK Ethical fund, managed by Lesley Duncan, was recently awarded a Morningstar OBSR Analyst Rating of Bronze. The fund aims to provide long-term growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of UK equities that meet Standard Life Investments’ ethical criteria.
