The Pensions Trust, one of the leading workplace pension funds in the UK, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Furbank as Trustee Services Delivery Manager.

 Mike joins The Pensions Trust with nearly thirty years of experience of running occupational pensions schemes. Prior to joining The Pensions Trust, Mike’s most recent roles have been with Capita, Coal Pension Trustees and the Merchant Navy Ratings Pension Fund. Over his career Mike has acted in a number of technical and project management roles, and more recently as Pensions Manager and Secretary to the Trustee. In addition to this he is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute, an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a TPAS adviser. 
  
 Mike will be responsible for leading the Trustee Services Delivery Team and will act on behalf of the Trustee Board, in consultation with employers, on matters relating to funding and investment strategy. The Trustee Services Delivery Team is responsible for relaying the views of employers to the Trustee and the Committees of Multi-Employer Schemes as well as supporting the Board and
  
 Committees in carrying forward their funding strategy and any scheme changes which might be required.
  
 Mike Ramsey, Chief Executive of The Pensions Trust, said:
