General Insurance Article - Working remotely may be alien but not impossible

The Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA) have published guidance urging providers to prioritise critical tasks as Covid-19 impacts traditional working environments. Andy Greig, Partner at Barnett Waddingham, welcomes the much needed guidance in these times of change and uncertainty.

Andy Greig, Partner at Barnett Waddingham, said; “Working remotely may be an alien task for some providers but not an impossible one. PASA’s in-depth guidance provides administrators with welcome advice on how to adapt and continue to deliver critical services in this unique situation.

“Whilst Barnett Waddingham had to overcome a few hurdles in the early stages, we are pleased our administrators are still able to provide the full range of services to our clients. Prioritising key administration duties such as cash flow and pensioner payrolls has been critical and reassuring for pensioners to see no change in the service.

“We will remain vigilant on any market changes in the coming weeks to maintain our focus on our client’s needs throughout this period.”
