Xafinity is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Armitage as principal consultant for Xafinity’s fully flexible DC Mastertrust, the National Pension Trust.

Paul is a well-respected DC pension specialist and will be responsible for helping employers, trustees and governance committees create and manage DC solutions.

Paul joins Xafinity from Scuderia Consulting Limited, where he was managing director supporting benefit consultancies with strategy and implementation in the DC pension space. Previously his roles included DC consulting director at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, and managing director for DC consulting at HSBC Actuaries and Consultants, where he worked for over twelve years.

Paul Armitage, principal consultant, Xafinity, said: “I am really excited about coming on board. The National Pension Trust is a uniquely compelling offering and has just welcomed its 68th participating employer. This is testament to the fact that the Trust addresses real client issues and because it is unique amongst fully flexible mastertrusts in having a proven track record.”

Ben Bramhall, deputy managing director, Xafinity, said: “Paul has a particularly strong track record in helping clients with their DC pension schemes. His experience will help us to continue to best support our clients in making the most of Freedom and Choice. I am delighted to welcome him to Xafinity.”
