Xchanging plc has announced the appointment of Jim Sadler to Global CIO and Rob Myers to Global Director of Operations. Both have been promoted to the senior leadership roles from the company’s Insurance Sector.
Having undertaken aspects of these remits unofficially since 2013, Jim and Rob have now moved formally into their new roles, in order to accelerate Xchanging’s strategy of delivering world class, technology-enabled products and services to its global customer base.
John Niblett will replace Jim as CIO for Xchanging Insurance, while Bev Stone has been appointed UK Insurance Operations Director taking over Rob’s UK responsibilities. Jim and Rob will remain firmly engaged in the insurance business, using their global remits to ensure continued improvements in the services and technology provided for this important sector.
Jim will have responsibility for Xchanging’s global technology strategy, focusing on:
- Driving strategic investment in technology to enable business growth
- Creating a single IT infrastructure strategy to support the global business
- Implementing best practice change management procedures
- Developing Xchanging’s intellectual property portfolio
Rob has responsibility for Xchanging’s business operations globally, concentrating on:
- Standardising operating systems and service management practices.
- Delivering business transformation alongside investment in new enterprise systems
- Applying technology like robotic process automation to improve productivity
- Collaboration between business processing, procurement & technology service lines
