General Insurance Article - Xchanging to expand American Market offering

Xchanging, the business process outsourcing company, has announced its intention to expand its insurance offering to the North American market.

The expansion, announced at a recent Xchanging event in Bermuda, will be led by Domenick Di Cicco who was appointed as head of Xchanging’s North American operations in January.

Xchanging’s North American Team is made up of insurance industry veterans who, between them, have decades of experience and influence in the market.. In addition to business process outsourcing in insurance, the team also has a wealth of knowledge of insurance software and platforms. These attributes combine to deliver a competitive edge in both operating cost reduction and greater flexibility for Xchanging customers.
As part of the planned expansion in the North American market, Xchanging has launched the Chicago Demonstration Centre. The 24-terminal hub facility provides a hands-on demonstration of the business process utility being offered ? BPaaS (Business Processing-as-a-Service) to showcase the power of the value proposition.

Domenick DiCicco, Head of North American Insurance said: “After more than a decade’s experience providing Business Processing and Software to the insurance industry across the globe, expansion in North America is the natural evolution of our growth. As companies struggle to contain costs and draw the most profit from a relatively flat revenue stream, our proven model is a compelling proposition for US Customers. Since our team is comprised of former industry executives we have unique insight into the pressures facing today’s insurance executive and are able to craft solutions that have impact.”
