Articles - Xuber launches 'Xuber Claims'

Xuber, Xchanging’s insurance software business, has launched ‘Xuber Claims’, the first release from the next-generation suite of commercial insurance products announced at the company’s re-launch in October last year.

Xuber Claims comprises a fully-integrated claims management solution with embedded workflow to optimise, automate and measure each stage of the business process from first notification of loss through coverage verification to final settlement. Xuber Claims can be deployed standalone or as part of a fully integrated end-to-end solution with other components. It can also sit alongside existing Xuber applications Iris and Genius, or third party/in-house policy admin systems.

The new release has been designed with an emphasis on achieving an unprecedented level of configurability, flexibility, and openness for the client. For the first time, it brings claims case management, data capture, and transition processing for claims together into a single claims application, and affords the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders, from repairers to adjusters and lawyers.

Xuber Claims also holds the unique advantage of being part of the only single platform solution with global capability on the market. Xuber components are able to operate across multiple currencies and regions, with 24/7 support. They support all major lines of business including speciality niche lines handling, international lines, the London market and Lloyd’s business lines.

Adrian Morgan, Head of Xuber, comments:
“There is a gap in the market for a sophisticated claims application that meets the needs of the international commercial insurer and reinsurer. Insurance is now a global, 24-hour industry, reliant on the rapid exchange of information across a huge variety of regions, each with its local requirements with regards to tax, currency and legal entity. ”

“For global customers, Xuber Claims has the functionality to manage multi-currency claims across multiple regions and entities. It can handle highly complex claims as well as dealing efficiently with high volume and low value claims. We are very excited to introduce this new offering to the market.”

Benefiting from flexible screen design, screen flow, rules-based validation and defaulting, Xuber Claims facilitates a streamlined user experience, enabling customers to maximise efficiency. Xuber Claims supports London Market messaging and interfaces with third party systems for litigation and fraud management.

The release of Xuber Claims follows the re-launch of Xchanging's insurance software business as 'Xuber' in October 2012, the culmination of a £20 million plus investment in the development of a next-generation suite of commercial insurance software, in addition to substantial expansion of the company’s marketing and sales.
