General Insurance Article - Zurich launches revamped information website

Zurich has launched a revamped information website for members of its corporate savings schemes. The new site delivers a high quality online experience to help members save towards their retirement and manage other savings products, such as ISAs and Investment Accounts. It has been enhanced significantly through a simpler design and the addition of videos, calculators, animations, tools and easy-to-follow guidance, to help educate workforces in financial planning.

Over the coming months Zurich will be rolling out these enhanced features to all their customers, ensuring everyone can access our latest solution via the site.

Dave Lowe, Head of Corporate Propositions , Zurich said:
“Zurich’s new website delivers information that focuses on meeting savers’ needs in a way that makes financial solutions easier to understand. We understand that financial planning can be complex, so we’ve designed the website to ensure that the information is jargon-free and the saving products that we offer are easy to understand.

Given the substantial economic and social demographic changes which are impacting retirement planning, providers have a responsibility to do all they can to engage the public and aid their decision-making on such a critical issue”.

In addition to the new features, Zurich offers step-by-step guides and tools to help members understand their personal circumstances, the benefits they are provided with and the provisions they need to make, so they are able to know the value of the benefits provided.

 These include:
 • A budget calculator that’s designed to help employees understand their finances and identify how much they can afford to save.

 • Employees can access and manage their online account 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and make changes to their investments.

 • A product selector and video that helps educate employees and aid them in deciding which savings products are suitable for them.

 • Calculators that show the net cost to employees and highlights the extra benefits of tax savings and their employer payments

 • Retirement and ISA planners to help employees understand what they might get back from their savings. This can help them decide how much to save and the impact of any delay.

 • Assistance with reviewing savings plans, to help employees keep their plans on track - including the key things to consider as they approach retirement
